GREENCASTLE, Ind. - The Spartans turned in a strong day of performances at the DePauw Indoor Invitational on Saturday, February 11.
A new top-10mark was set in the men's 60 meter dash by
Corbin Till (Fort Wayne, Ind., Bishop Dwenger) Till finished the event in second place with a time of 7.11 seconds.
Jarmel Holloway (Sarasota, Fla., Sarasota) set a new top-10 mark in the men's 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.80 seconds.
Ben Villafuerte (Angola, Ind., Angola) set a new PR and Manchester top-10 mark in the shot put event, finishing in second place with a distance of 15.44 meters.
Brooke Bouwens (Lake Odessa, Mich., Lakewood) set a new Manchester top-10 mark in the women's 60 meter hurdles, crossing the finish line in a time of 10.46 seconds.
Carley Camp (Logansport, Ind., Logansport) set new personal best times and top-10 marks in both the shot put and weight throw events.
Camp won both events, finishing the shot put with a distance of 13.11 meters, second best distance in school history, and the weight throw with a distance of 15.17 meters, third best distance in school history.
