Box Score North Manchester, Ind. - The Manchester University Football team honored their seniors as they hosted Mount St. Joseph in their final home match up.

The Moutain Lions bested the Spartans winning the game 43-7.

MSJ got things started fast as they scored 28 points in the first quarter to take a 28-0 lead. Senior DB Javion Davis (Marion, Ind., Marion) recorded his 2nd interception of the year in the 2nd quarter to help keep the Mountain Lions out of the end zone. The Spartans went into the locker room down 37-0 at halftime. 

In the 3rd quarter, First Year Kameron Landrum (Huntington, Ind.) would force a fumble that would be recovered by Blake Haiflich (Ossian, Ind., Norwell) that would give the Spartans field position at the MSJ 29. This turnover resulted in a Manchester touchdown coming from the Senior connection as Dante Chaney (Arlington, Tx., Mansfield Legacy) rifled a ball into Duriel Moss Jr. (Homestead, Fla., Christopher Columbus) chest for a 34 yard score. 

MSJ would go on to outlast the Spartans in a scoreless fourth quarter.

Manchester will travel to Anderson, Ind. to take on Anderson University for the Bronze Ball Trophy in their final match up of the season on November 16.
