Cedar Falls, Iowa - Manchester Women's Wrestling finished ninth at the NWCA National Duals on Saturday in Cedar Falls, putting together a strong run through the consolation bracket to close the national tournament.

The Spartans opened the day with a 30-17 victory over Schreiner in the first round, advancing to the quarterfinals against Western New England. Manchester battled but fell 28-17, sending the Spartans into the consolation rounds. In round two of the consolation bracket, Manchester was edged by Augustana in a tightly contested 24-24 dual that was decided by tiebreaker, with Augustana holding the advantage in non-max point match points, 30-28.

Responding well, Manchester rebounded in the 9–12 place bracket with a decisive 34-14 win over Albion in the semifinals. The Spartans then closed the tournament with another strong performance against Schreiner, earning a 33-16 victory in the final match of the bracket to secure ninth place overall at the national duals.

The ninth-place finish capped a competitive weekend for Manchester against a strong national field and highlighted the Spartans' depth and resilience on the national stage.
