North Manchester, Ind. - Manchester University Athletics has announced the Hall of Fame inductees for the class of 2026.
On Friday, October 16 Manchester Univeristy will see three inductees enshrined in the Manchester Athletics Hall of Fame. This year's class honors Trey Forbes '11 (Baseball), Kristin Frick '05 Flory (Tennis), and the 2015-16 Women's Cross Country and Track & Field Team.

Trey Forbes
Few players in Manchester Baseball history have produced a season as dominant as Trey Forbes. A 2011 graduate and 2011 All-American, Forbes established himself as one of the premier hitters in NCAA Division III baseball and left a lasting mark on the Spartan program. During his All-American campaign in 2011, Forbes appeared in 43 games and delivered one of the finest offensive seasons in Manchester history. He hit .420 with 71 hits, 64 runs scored, 22 doubles, 2 triples, 7 home runs, and 44 RBIs. He also posted an outstanding .510 on-base percentage and .698 slugging percentage for a remarkable 1.208 OPS. More than the numbers, Forbes was a dynamic player whose ability to impact the game in multiple ways helped elevate Manchester Baseball. His combination of power, consistency, and offensive production made him one of the most feared hitters in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and earned him national recognition as an NCAA Division III All-American. Forbes' success reflects the excellence and tradition of Manchester Baseball. His achievements continue to stand among the best individual performances in program history and serve as a standard for future Spartan student-athletes.
Kristin Frick Flory:
One of the most accomplished players in the history of the Manchester University women's tennis program, competing at the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles positions throughout her four-year career from 2001-04. A three-time team captain (2002, 2003, and 2004), she helped lead the Spartans to four consecutive Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) championships from 2002-04 and played a pivotal role in building the program's conference dominance, which contributed to a 39-match HCAC winning streak that continued until 2007. Frick earned HCAC All-Conference honors all four years of her career and was named the HCAC Most Valuable Player in 2004, as well as HCAC Player of the Week on September 12, 2004. She compiled an outstanding career record of 55-5 in singles play and 60-6 in doubles competition. Academically, she was recognized as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Academic All-American in 2003 and 2004 and was also a member of the ITA Academic All-American Team in both seasons. During the 2004 ITA Women's Tennis Tournament, Frick advanced to the Round of 16 at No. 1 singles with a 2-1 record, suffering her only loss to the eventual tournament champion, and captured the back draw championship at No. 1 doubles with a 4-1 record.
2015-2016 Women's Cross Country and Track & Field Team
The 2015-16 Manchester University women's cross country and track & field teams enjoyed a remarkable year, capturing Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) championships in cross country, indoor track & field, and outdoor track & field. During the 2015 cross country season, the Spartans claimed the HCAC title with three runners finishing among the top 10. Mariah Jordan led the way by winning the individual conference championship and earning HCAC Most Valuable Runner honors. Jordan was joined by Rachel Weeber and Tiffany Harber on the All-HCAC team, and she capped off her outstanding season by qualifying for the NCAA National Championships.
The success continued during the 2016 indoor track & field season, as Manchester secured another HCAC championship. The Spartans produced three event victories, with Mariah Jordan winning both the 3,000-meter and 5,000-meter runs and Shay Aator claiming the weight throw title. Jordan and Aator each earned All-HCAC recognition, while Aator qualified for the NCAA National Championships.
Manchester completed its championship sweep in the 2016 outdoor track & field season by winning the HCAC title once again. The team recorded three individual event champions, highlighted by Mariah Jordan's victories in the 1,500-meter run and 10,000-meter run and Shay Aator's championship performance in the hammer throw. Jordan, Aator, and Jacey Cauhorn were all named All-HCAC, capping a historic year for the Spartan women's cross country and track & field program.
The Induction Ceremony will be held in conjunction with Homecoming on Friday, October 16 in the Upper Jo Young Switzer Center with the reception starting at 5 pm, dinner and program at 6 pm. Tickets for the ceremony cost $36, ticket purchasing location TBD.
