Cross Country Releases 2026 Schedule

7/8/2026 10:00:00 AM

North Manchester, Ind. - Manchester University Cross Country has release the 2026 schedule for both the men's and women's squads. The slate features a blend of regional competition, nationally recognized invitationals, and championship meets, highlighted by Manchester hosting the 2026 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Championships this fall.

The 2026 campaign gets underway on Friday, Sept. 4, as the Spartans welcome teams to North Manchester for the Manchester Opener. One week later, Manchester will travel to East Lansing, Michigan, to compete in the MSU Spartan Invitational on Sept. 11.

After a three-week break, the Spartans return to action at the Louisville Classic on Oct. 3, one of the premier meets in the Midwest and a key opportunity to test themselves against strong regional and national competition.

Manchester will close out the regular-season portion of its schedule on Oct. 17 at either the Interregional Rumble in Oberlin, Ohio, or the Augustana Interregional Meet in Rock Island, Illinois. A final decision on which meet the Spartans will attend will be made closer to the competition date. Both events annually attract many of the nation's top NCAA Division III programs and serve as important opportunities to prepare for championship season.

The conference championship portion of the schedule arrives on Saturday, Oct. 31, when Manchester hosts the 2026 HCAC Championships in North Manchester. The Spartans will look to capitalize on home-course familiarity while competing for conference titles and all-HCAC honors.

Postseason competition continues on Nov. 14 with the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional at Forest Acres East Golf Course in Michigan. Regional performances will determine qualification for the NCAA Division III National Championships, scheduled for Nov. 21 in Northfield, Minnesota.

With a schedule that features strong competition throughout the fall and the opportunity to host the conference championships, the Spartans will have several chances to measure their progress as they pursue HCAC and NCAA postseason success in 2026.

Schedule dates and times are subject to change.
