Former wrestling standout JaVon Phillips has been added as an Associate Head Coach for Wrestling in June 2024.

Phillips was a two-time National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American during his Black & Gold career. As a senior during the 2019-20 season, Phillips led Manchester with 21 wins and earned a 5th-place finish at the NCAA Division III Central Region Championships. Phillips ended his career with an overall record of 84-51.

Phillips graduated from Manchester in 2020 and also teaches in Fort Wayne.
