Mikka Hunt joined the Manchester cheerleading squad as head coach of the sideline team in January of 2024.

Hunt comes to North Manchester after spending the past several years working at Allegheny College located in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where she strived to seek ways to support students outside of the classroom as a vital element for academic success.

She has also spent time coaching middle school cheering.

Hunt graduated from DePauw University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and a minor in religious studies. During her time as a Tiger, Hunt was also a member of the cheerleading squad.

Mikka is married to Manchester head football coach Vann Hunt. They have two children, Jonnah and Nayomi, and reside in North Manchester.
