NORTH MANCHESTER, IND. – A pair of double-figure kill totals from junior outside hitter Sarah Pruden (Noblesville, Ind.) and sophomore outside hitter Courtney Chowning (Yorktown, Ind.) led the offense in Manchester University's season finale Saturday, Nov. 1.

Pruden hammered 11 kills and registered a strong .300 attack percentage against visiting Rose-Hulman, and Chowning turned in 10 kills. Despite those efforts, the Spartans finished the season at 5-22 overall and 1-8 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference after a 25-20, 26-24, 25-17 loss to the Fightin' Engineers.

Beyond the attack numbers, junior setter Mikayla Munn (Elkhart, Ind.) tallied 37 assists, two service aces and 10 digs, while junior middle hitter Morgan Pavelka (Noblesville, Ind.) served up two aces to take her season total to 40 and picked up one of the squad's four solo blocks. Freshman defensive specialist Megan Robbins (Connersville, Ind.) led a trio of players in dig double-digits (14) with senior defensive specialist Morgan Yoder (Wakarusa, Ind.) a close second (12).

NOTES: Yoder, the lone member of MU's Class of 2015 on the squad, closed her career with 535 digs … Year-end leaders for Manchester University were Chowning (318 kills), Munn (882 assists), Pavelka (40 service aces), Robbins (308 digs) and junior middle hitter Devin Clark (Madison, Ind.) (57 blocks).
