RICHMOND, IND. – Fueled by four straight-set singles victories, Manchester University evened its record with a 9-0 victory over Earlham College Saturday, Sept. 13. It was the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opener for both sides.

Sophomores Adriana Brown (Columbia City, Ind.) and Alaina Beckner (Columbia City, Ind.), junior Megan Buckner (Muncie, Ind.) and freshman Erin Cordill (Zionsville, Ind.) each dispatched their Quaker opponents in two sets. Brown's victory upped her season mark to 2-0.

MU continues conference play hosting Defiance College of Ohio Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 4 p.m.
