DEFIANCE, OHIO – Manchester University recorded straight set wins in each singles match-up and gained three doubles decisions to remain unbeaten in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play Wednesday, Sept. 16.

The Spartans, moving to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the league, had a pair of perfect singles' finishes, as junior Cassy Dibley (Elkhart, Ind.), at number five, and junior Adriana Brown (Columbia City, Ind.), at number six, each captured 6-0, 6-0 finals. Brown's victory moved her to 3-0 on the season, while the doubles pairing of junior Alaina Beckner (Columbia City, Ind.) and freshman Sierra Crane (Bedford, Ind.) increased their mark to 2-0 during the afternoon.

The Black and Gold resume a busy week of conference duals traveling to Franklin College Saturday, Sept. 19. First serve is 12 p.m. at the Mickel-Hoover Tennis Complex on FC's campus.
