FORT WAYNE, IND. – Close-knit doubles battles from the top pairing of juniors Erin Cordill (Zionsville, Ind.) and Katy Ashpole (Leesburg, Ind.) and the No. 2 team of junior Katie Peden (North Manchester, Ind.) and freshman Lauren Rodts (Mishawaka, Ind.) highlighted Manchester University's dual against Ohio Northern Sunday, Sept. 25.

Ashpole and Cordill pushed the Polar Bears' Ola Latala and Christina Corbean to an 8-6 final, and Peden and Rodts picked up four games against Mackenzie Wills and Katherine Curry. After ONU finished off a sweep of the Spartans' doubles teams, they continued on with straight-set victories at each turn in singles' action to close out a 9-0 team final.

MU (4-3) returns to action Thursday, Sept. 29. They travel to Mishawaka for a dual against the Bethel College Pilots along with the Black and Gold men's team.
