MARSHALL, Mich. - The Manchester women's tennis team dropped a pair of non-conference road matches to Alma and Olivet on Saturday afternoon in Michigan.

Against Alma, junior Karly Eichenauer (North Manchester, Ind./Manchester) earned a hard-fought 7-6 (9-7), 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles.  She added a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles against Olivet as well.

Against the Olivet Comets, Maddy Russow (Logansport, Ind./Logansport) and Kaitlyn Burger (Syracuse, Ind./Fairfield) teamed up for an 8-4 win at the No. 2 doubles position.  Barger also dropped a three-set battle at No. 3 singles by a narrow 4-6, 7-6 (8-4), 10-8 decision.
