NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Manchester University women's tennis team returned to action on Wednesday afternoon. The Spartans hosted regional-foe Trine at the MU Tennis Courts.

The visiting Thunder topped Manchester by a final tally of 9-0.

In doubles play, the duos of Karly Eichenauer and Maddy Russow and Michayle Rasbaugh and Natalie Kotlin both won a game before falling to their Trine opponents 8-1.

In singles action, Eichenauer, Russow, Rasbuagh, and Rebecca Porterfield-Winstead (Durham, N.C. / Carolina Friends School) all won one game apiece. 

Manchester (0-2) and Trine (4-0) will meet again this weekend on Saturday, September 26, in Angola. Match time is scheduled for 11 am.
