ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College used a strong second half to rally past visiting Manchester University in men's basketball action on Saturday November 13.
The Spartans built a 38-34 lead at the intermission; however, the Bulldogs were able to outscore the Black & Gold 58-42 in the 2
nd half to secure a 92-80 victory.
Host Adrian shot a blistering 64.5 percent (20-31) in the 2
nd half. The Bulldogs finished Saturday's game with 54 points in the paint, 34 bench points, and 26 points in transition. Manchester was able to score 42 of its points in the paint on Saturday.

Quentez Columbus (South Bend, Ind./Adams) led Manchester with 18 points. Columbus finished 7-10 shooting for the game. First-year guard
Ian Snelling (Erlanger, Ky./Dixie Heights) added 16 points and 7 rebounds. Snelling shot 7-9 from the floor and went 2-2 from three-point territory. Sophomore forward
Mitch Mendenhall (New Haven, Ind./Woodlan) chipped in 16 points and 5 boards.
5 Bulldogs scored in double figures on Saturday and were led by Connor Pelham's double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds.
The Spartans (0-3) will look to get their first win on Tuesday night when Ohio Northern pays a visit to Stauffer-Wolfe Arena. Game time on November 16 is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Adrian (1-1) will travel to Earlham College on Wednesday November 17 for a 7:30 p.m. showdown with the Quakers.
