Box Score WARSAW, Ind. – Senior Karly Eichenauer (North Manchester, Ind./Manchester) led the Manchester University women's tennis team against Franklin College on Sunday afternoon, picking up a pair of points for the Black & Gold.
Eichenauer paired with Natalie Kotlin (Lowell, Ind./Lowell) for an 8-5 victory at no. 1 doubles. Eichenauer would then go on to win her no. 1 singles match 6-4, 6-1. Karly is now 2-1 in singles play against Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference competition.
Maddy Russow (Logansport, Ind./Logansport) had a competitive match at no. 2 singles, winning four games in the first set against Caitlin Fedor. Natalie Kotlin was edged at the no. 3 singles flight by Maecee Terhune 6-4, 6-2.
Michayle Rasbaugh (LaGrange, Ind./Lakeland) was narrowly edged at no. 4 singles 6-0, 7-5.
The Grizzlies improved 2-3, 1-1 HCAC following Sunday's 7-2 victory.
Manchester will return to the courts on Tuesday afternoon at Bethel (Ind.). Tuesday's match is a makeup from last week's rainout.
