NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Manchester women's soccer program played host to the Beavers of Bluffton University this afternoon. The Spartans efforts fell short as Bluffton went home with a 0-4 win.
The Beavers offense pressured the Spartans all afternoon. The Beavers accumulated 28 shots. Four different Bluffton players were responsible for goals. The Beavers defense was stout as they not only held Manchester scoreless, but didn't allow for a single shot in the match.Â
It was a busy night in goal for fifth year
Bridget Nash (Carmel, Ind., Bishop Chatard) facing 13 shots on the day.
Nash displayed great athleticism in several of her saves and totaled 9 saves.Â
The Spartans finish their season 2-15-1 overall and 1-8-1 in HCAC competitions. Graduating just 4 players this year, the Black and Gold will look to build off the 2022 season.
