North Manchester, Ind. – The Spartans ended their fall campaign by hosted Albion College in non-conference play on Tuesday at the MU Tennis Courts.
 
The Brits claimed all three doubles points, but the No. 1 pairing of Austin Arnold (Coatesville, Ind./South Putnam) and Brennan Beachy (Goshen, Ind./Westfield) fought hard before falling 4-8.
 
The Spartans did pick up two team points in singles play. Beachy fought from a set down to claim the match in a tiebreak 6-7 (3), 6-3, [10-8] at the second flight, while Aiden Richardson (Knightstown, Ind./HS) had an easier time with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 6.
 
The Spartans will be off for the rest of the Fall, and will start again in the Spring with a match at Wabash College on Feb. 18.
