CARMEL, Ind. - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) announced the Volleyball All-Conference and marquee awards winners on Tuesday, November 1.
HCAC All Conference Awards
A Trio of Spartans were named to the All-Conference Second Team, including First Year outside hitter
Avery Ball (Decatur, Ind., Belmont). Ball led the Black and Gold during regular season play with 215 kills, 281 digs, and 44 service aces. Ball finished the season with a .122 hitting percentage in 29 matches played for the Spartans.
Carley Camp (Logansport, Ind., Logansport) also earned All-Conference Second Team honors. The sophomore middle hitter played in 29 matches for the Black and Gold this season, accumulating 195 kills this season, with 16 solo blocks and 60 block assists to lead MU with 76 total blocks on the year. The sophomore was named to the HCAC All-Freshman Team back in 2021.
Rounding out the All-HCAC awards on Tuesday was junior outside hitter
Joy Maze (Greenwood, Ind., Greenwood Community). Maze was named All-Conference Second Team after racking up 178 kills, 38 total blocks, and 7 service aces in 25 matches played during the regular season. Maze finished the year with a .114 hitting percentage and added 77 digs defensively for MU.
Manchester finished 14-15 overall. With a 3-6 record in conference play, the Spartans finished the year in 8th place in the HCAC.
