NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Competing at the Gregory Invitational hosted by North Central College (Ill.), the Manchester University men's 4x100 meter relay team of
Tristen Bronaugh,
Quentin Willis,
Duriel Moss Jr., and
Gabe Melvin established another new school record in the event. Improving upon their previous school record set at the 2022 HCAC Outdoor Championships, the quartet ran a combined 41.78.
Additionally, junior distance runner
Enrique Salazar (Plymouth, Ind./Plymouth) sent yet another school record, this time in the 5000m. Salazar posted a fourth-place finish in the event following a time of 14:41.47. Salazar's time was a new PR by 18 seconds and broke Jeff Niespodziany by eight seconds. Niespodziany's previous record has stood since 1981.
