INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee announced on Friday the participants in the 2022 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Full NCAA Qualifiers List

For each men's individual event contested, including the decathlon, the top 20 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. For each women's individual event contested, including the heptathlon, the top 22 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. For each relay event contested, the top 16 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted into the competition.

For Manchester, both junior Enrique Salazar (Plymouth, Ind./Plymouth) and first-year Carley Camp (Logansport, Ind./Logansport) will represent the Black & Gold at this year's national championships. Salazar will compete in the 10,000m while Camp will throw in the shot put.

Salazar has had one of the most dominant years by a Manchester athlete in school history. During the cross country season, Salazar was a two-time Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honoree. He earned All-HCAC honors as well as All-Great Lakes Region honors from the United States Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Salazar moved up to 2nd all-time in Manchester history after running a time of 25:12 at the 2021 Calvin University Knight Invitational. On the track & field circuit, Salazar swept the indoor and outdoor HCAC Men's Distance Athlete of the Year Award. Enrique helped the men's track & field team earn its first-ever indoor and outdoor HCAC crowns. Also earning all-region honors from the USTFCCCA in track & field, Salazar established five new school records in 2022.  The four-time HCAC Male Track Athlete of the Week also earned Academic All-HCAC recognition this year.

At the 2022 HCAC Outdoor Championships, Camp had a weekend for the history books. The first-year won the women's hammer throw with a leading mark of 47.59m (156' 2"). Her distance was a new PR and moved her to 4th on the all-time MU Top 10 listings. Even more impressively, Camp set a new school record in the shot put – a mark that would qualify her for this year's national championships. Camp's mark of 13.55m (44' 5 1/2") crushed her previous career mark and landed her on the podium in 2nd place. Camp would also pick up a third-place finish in the discus throw. Camp registered a distance of 36.93m (121' 2") in the event. Carley helped the women to HCAC titles during both the indoor and outdoor seasons. She earned HCAC Athlete of the Week honors once and also earned USTFCCCA All-Region accolades during the indoor season.

The championships will be held May 26-28 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
