Spartans Upended by Knights

NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Spartans dropped today's home contest against the Calvin Knights 5-0. 

The Knights showed their offensive power in the match shooting 28 shots, 15 of which were on goal. The Knights were able to bury 5 goals on the evening. 

First-year Brie Spagnolo (Bradenton, Fla., Manatee) had a career night in goal despite the loss. Spagnolo racked up 10 saves in goal for the Spartans.

Calvin continues their perfect season moving to 5-0 on the year. The Spartans fall to 1-4 on the year. They will look to get back into the win column this Sunday at Wilmington. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 P.M.
