ADRIAN, Mich. - The Manchester University women's basketball team fell by a final score of 73-50 to the Bulldogs of Adrian College on Saturday, November 18. 

Adrian shot 50% (32-64) from the field and had 46 rebounds as a team. Manchester had 11 steals on Saturday afternoon. 

Two Adrian players scored in double figures, led by Bailey Taylor with 19 points and JuliaTierman with 14 points. Taylor and Tierman also led with seven rebounds apiece. 

Manchester was led by Madison Stamm (Fortville, Ind., Anderson Prep) with 12 points followed by Hailee Kline (Huntington, Ind., Blackhawk Christian) with 10 points. 

First-year Kinsey Atkins (Warsaw, Ind., Triton) had a team-high three steals on Saturday afternoon, while fellow first-year Kendal Rider (Otterbein, Ind., Lafayette Central Catholic) pulled down a team-high five rebounds. 

Manchester moves to 1-2 overall on the young season. Up next, the Spartans will host the University of Concordia Chicago in their 2023 home-opener on Wednesday, November 22. Tipoff against the Cougars is scheduled for 2:00 pm. in Staufer-Wolfe Arena.
