MISHAWAKA, Ind. - The Manchester men's and women's tennis team traveled to Mishawaka to take on the Bethel Pilots on Friday, April 13 for the team's last match of the year.

The women fell to Bethel 9-0.
 
In doubles play, the no. 1 pair of Eva Bazzoni (Wabash, Ind., Manchester) and Evelyn Minton (Clarksville, Ind., Jeffersonville) fell 8-1. At the no. 2 position, Natalie Kotlin (Lowell, Ind., Lowell) and Avin Demaso (South Bend, Ind., Riley)were defeated 8-0. Heather Binion (Lebanon, Ind., Lebanon) and Lindsay Schweisberger fell by the same score at no. 3 doubles.
 
Bazzoni was defeated at no. 1 singles by a score of 6-0, 6-2. Minton fell 6-3, 6-3 in her no. 2 singles matchup. At no. 3, Kotlin fell to Saige Rinkenberger by a score of 6-1, 6-0. DeMaso dropped her match at no. 4 singles 6-0, 6-0. At no. 5 singles, Binion fell 6-0, 6-1. To round out the lineup, Schweisberger fell 6-0, 6-0 at no. 6 singles.
 
The Spartans finished with an overall record of 4-14, 1-5 HCAC.
