NEW ORLEANS, La. – Six Spartans earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All Region honors for the 2023 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season, the USTFCCCA announced on Friday, May 19.

Top-five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
Manchester senior Brooke Bouwens (Lake Odessa, Mich., Lakewood) earned All-Great Lake Region honors for her performance this outdoor season. Bouwens ran a 1:04.29 time in the 400m hurdles at the St. Francis Fighting Chance Meet, putting her fourth in the Great Lakes Region and third all-time in Manchester school history.
Sophomore thrower Carley Camp (Logansport, Ind., Logansport) also earned All-Great Lake Region honor this outdoor season. Camp sits third in the Great Lakes Region in the shot put with a mark of 13.97m set at the Billy Hayes Invitational hosted by Indiana University. Her distance in the shot put currently ranks first all-time in Manchester school history.
Elizabeth Lohman (Fort Wayne, Ind., Carroll) garnered USTFCCCA All-Region honors after running the fourth fastest time in the Great Lakes Region in the 3,000m steeplechase at the prestigious WashU Distance Carnival in St. Louis. Lohman ran the event in a time of 11:12.67, putting her second all-time in school history.
On the men's side, Gabe Hendricks (Fort Wayne, Ind., Bishop Luers) garnered USTFCCCA All Region honors on Friday. The senior thrower ranks fifth in the All-Great Lakes Region in shot put with a mark of 15.80m, Hendricks earned the mark at the Indiana III Track and Field Championships hosted by DePauw University where he placed first in the event. Hendricks' mark is also ranks third all-time in school history.
Fellow senior thrower Ben Villafuerte (Angola, Ind., Angola) earned All Region honors after finishing third in the Great Lakes Region in shot put with a mark of 15.89m at Grand Valley State two weeks ago. Villafuerte's mark also ranks second all-time in school history.
Rounding out the All-Great Lakes Region honors for Manchester is Enrique Salazar (Plymouth, Ind., Plymouth). The senior distance runner ran the 10,000m run at the WashU Distance Carnival, finishing the event in third place in a time of 29:28.55, breaking the Manchester school record and ranking second in the Great Lakes Region.
