Titans Top Spartans on Saturday

NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Manchester University women's soccer team fell in non-conference action against Indiana University South Bend on Saturday, September 9. The Titans took Saturday's contest by a final score of 4-0.

IU South Bend placed 13 of their 21 shots on goal during Saturday's contest. Haylie Rodriguez scored two of the Titan's four goals, one in the 3rd minute and one in the 75th minute. 

Morgan Mauk (Toledo, Ohio, E.L. Bowsher) led Manchester with five shots on the day. She placed two shots on goal in the match. Lily DeTray (Oak Harbor, Wash., Oak Harbor) added three more shots for the Spartans, while Grace Papazoglou (Commack, NY., Commack), Audrey Spencer (Marian, Ind., Mississinewa), Elaina Halferty (Columbia City, Ind., Eagle Tech Academy) each added two shots for the Spartans. 

Ruth Windeler (Grand Blanc, Mich., Goodrich) had nine saves in goal for the Black and Gold.

Manchester fell to 0-4 on the young season. IU South Bend improved to 1-1 with the win.
