NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Manchester University women's tennis team dropped a non-conference road match at Albion College 9-0 on Wednesday, September 20.

In doubles action, the duo of Natalie Kotlin (Lowell, Ind., Lowell) and Evelyn Minton (Clarksville, Ind., Jeffersonville) won four games before being edged by Albion's Rosy Zunn and Josie Dunn 8-4. The doubles pairing of Anna Hollingsworth (New Castle, Ind., Blue River Valley) and Alivia Paul (Twelve Mile, Ind., Caston) fell 8-5 after a hard fought battle at no.3 doubles.

In singles play, Minton took the first set of her no. 2 matchup against Josie Dunn 6-2. Dunn rallied in the second and third sets 6-2, 11-9.

The Spartans will return to action at Huntington University on Tuesday, September 26. Match time is slated for 4:00 p.m.
