NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Manchester University women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match against Trine University on Tuesday, September 5. 

The no. 1 doubles duo of Natalie Kotlin (Lowell, Ind., Lowell) and Evelyn Minton (Clarksville, Ind., Jeffersonville) won three games before falling to Trine's Elina Locane and Alexis Maloney 8-3. 

In singles play, both Minton and Carmen Ramirez (Rolling Prairie, Ind., Mishawaka) picked up two games before being edged by their opponents 6-0, 6-2. 

Up next, the Spartans will host Grace College on Monday, September 11. Match time is set for 4:00 p.m. at the MU Tennis Courts.
