NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Manchester men's basketball team celebrated Senior Day with a convincing 95-63 victory over Earlham College on Saturday, January 27 in Stauffer-Wolfe Arena.

The Black and Gold jumped out to a 21-9 lead after a block by
Zach Sawyer (Columbus, Ohio, Bishop Watterson) followed by a three-point shot by
Logan Willoughby (Greenwood, Ind., Whiteland Community) at the 11:37 mark of the first half.
Bryant Smith (West Lafayette, Ind., Harrison) added a three-pointer at the 4:22 mark to increase the Spartans' lead to 35-18.
Manchester maintained a double-figure lead for the rest of the contest.
Manchester improved to 12-7 on the season and 9-3 in HCAC play, while Earlham dropped to 2-17 and 2-10 in league play.
As a team, Manchester finished with a 44.9% field goal percentage and a 45.7% three-point shooting percentage. The Spartans also pulled down 40 rebounds.
Four Spartans scored in double-digits on Saturday.
Logan Willoughby led the Black and Gold with 21 points, shooting 6-8 from three-point range.
Smith finished the afternoon with 18 points, while
Hampton added 15 points and seven rebounds.
Blake Shewmaker (Bargersville, Greenwood Christian Academy) shot 3-4 from the beyond the three-point score en route to 11 points.
Sawyer led the Spartans with 11 rebounds, six assists, and two blocks.
Up next, Manchester will travel to Bluffton University to face the Beavers in HCAC action on Wednesday, January 31 at 7:00 p.m.
