North Manchester, Ind. - The Manchester Spartans Women's Soccer team hosted the Bluffton Beavers in a mid-week HCAC match up on Wednesday.
The Spartans fell to the Beavers in a close finish, 1-0.

Bluffton got things started quick, having seven shots in the first 10 minutes of the match, but they were no match for First Year Goal Keeper
Claire German (Warsaw, Ind., Warsaw) who made some miraculous saves throughout the day. In the 39th minute a miss hit through ball would make it's way through the Manchester defense and Bluffton would capitalize and take the lead 1-0. The Beavers would hold onto this lead for the rest of the game and win 1-0.
German finished the game with 15 saves and only allowing one.
Grace Papazoglou (Commack, NY., Commack) would have the only Spartans shots on goal.
