Lexington, KY. - The Manchester University Men's Soccer team traveled to Lexington, KY. to take on Transylvania University in a HCAC match up this past Saturday. 

Manchester was able to fight back and secure a point with a 2-2 draw.

Manchester 2, Transylvania 2

Manchester fell down early, conceding in the 23rd minute and going down 1-0 in the first half, but things looked up in the second half when in the 70th minute, First year striker Ean Jones (Lancaster, TX, Red Oak) brought the Spartans level at 1-1. Not long after the ball would find the back of Manchester's net again with the Spartans going down 2-1. The fight would not go away though because less than two minutes later the Black & Gold would finish a set piece and Kole Williams (Lafayette, Ind., McCutcheon) would find the back of the net to bring the Spartans back level yet again. Manchester would hold strong for the last 10 minutes and walk away with the 2-2 draw.

Men's Soccer hosts Franklin College on October 23, at Spartan Stadium at 7:30 PM for their next match up.
