Berea, KY. - The Manchester University Volleyball team traveled down to Berea, KY to take on Berea College in a HCAC match up this past Saturday.

Manchester was able to get out early as they swept Berea 3-0.

Manchester was able to keep their HCAC unbeaten streak alive and in convincing fashion. The Spartans swept Berea 3-0 and were able to pick up an HCAC Athlete of the Week honor in Jessica Tarr (Fort Wayne, Ind., Snider) who posted 10 kills, zero attack errors, and a .455 attack percentage. Defensively, the Spartans had a block party with 12 blocks, four of which coming from three different Spartans. Tiffany Watterson (Elkhart, Ind., Elkhart) led the way in the service game, notching four service aces along with her 14 digs.

The Spartans look to keep the momentum as they host rival, Anderson University on October 23 in Stauffer-Wolfe Arena.
