North Manchester, Ind. - The Manchester University Volleyball team hosted the Anderson Ravens for the first round of the HCAC tournament on Wednesday.

The Spartans advanced to the Semi-Finals after beating Anderson University in four sets.

After dropping the first set, the Black and Gold fought back to take three sets in a row and secure victory. Leading the offense was Senior Jessica Tarr (Fort Wayne, Ind., Snider) who finished with 15 kills on a .560 attack percentage, with help from 28 assists coming from Morgan Howard (South Whitley, Ind., Whitko).Carley Camp (Logansport, Ind., Logansport) held down the net where she finished with five total blocks while Avery Ball (Decatur, Ind., Belmont) cleaned up the back court with 17 digs.

The Spartans will travel to Lexington, KY to compete against the #2 Seed Mount St. Joseph University on November 16 at 5 PM.
