Anderson, Ind. - The Manchester Spartan Football team traveled to Anderson, Ind. to take on Anderson University for the Bronze Ball this past Saturday. 

Manchester would fall on the road as Anderson would take home the Bronze Ball this year.

Manchester 17, Anderson 31

After a slow start and a scoreless first quarter, Senior running back Cameron Hovey (Sheridan, Ind., Sheridan) would find his way to the end zone on a 1 yard rush after a 6 play 45 yard drive by the Spartans to bring the game level at 7-7. Anderson would go on to score 24 straight points into the fourth quarter following this. With four minutes to go, Manchester WR/DB Levarian Campbell (Clewiston, FL) would pick off the Anderson QB and return it for 32 yards. This interception led to a Diego Moguel (Frankfort, Ind.) 22 yard field goal. Following the field goal, Manchester would recover anAiden Beachy (Tuscola, Ill., Tuscola Community) onside kick to set up their second touchdown of the day this time coming from a Levi Campbell 38 yard reception. 

The Spartans efforts were stopped short after a failed second onside kick and Anderson would win 31-17. The Spartans finish off their season winless and will look to build the program up for next season.
