HAUTE, Ind. - The Manchester University swimming and diving teams competed in day three of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday February 16.
The men's 200-yard medley relay team consisting of
Colten Schulte (Huntington, Ind., Huntington North), Jaden Chin Hong (Trinidad and Tobago, Logansport), Parker York (Roann, Ind., Manchester), and Hung Tran (Franklin Township, Ind., Franklin Central) broke the Manchester school record after finishing the event in fourth place with a time of 1:38.68.
York also broke the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke with a preliminary time of 59.37. The junior would take fourth place in the event on Friday night.
Michael DeBartolo (Elkhart, Ind., Concord) swam his way to a new Manchester school record in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:26.73.

The Black and Gold will return to action tomorrow for the fourth and final day of the HCAC Swimming and Diving Championships. Preliminaries start at 10:00 a.m. Finals are slated to begin at 5:00 p.m.
