TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships wrapped up on Saturday, with Franklin College claiming the women's title and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology winning the men's championship crown.

Rose-Hulman captured the men's title with a score of 957, beating out Franklin College, who earned 569 points. Transylvania University finished third with 456.5, Manchester University placed fourth with 374.5 while Anderson University was fifth with 206 points. Hanover College placed sixth with 107 points and Bluffton University rounded out the scoring in seventh place with 67 points.
On the women's side, Franklin took the title in a close race with a score of 656 points. Transylvania finished second with 615 points, while Rose-Hulman took third with 567. Anderson finished in fourth with 443. Manchester (198), Hanover (171), and Bluffton (135) rounded out the scoring, finishing in fifth, sixth, and seventh respectively.
The Spartans broke seven school records and Coach
Roger Karns was named the HCAC Men's Coach of the Year.
Takoda Stone (Lakeville, Ind., Mishawaka) was the only HCAC All-Conference Honoree where he earned bronze in the 1m Dive.
Logan Davis (Elkhart, Ind., Elkhart) broke the Manchester record in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 53.59 and finishing in 6th at the meet.
Cyler Nelis (Greenwood, Ind., Whiteland Community) broke the Manchester Record in the 100 yard Breaststroke with a time of 58.91 and finishing 4th in the meet.
Parker York (Roann, Ind., Manchester) broke the record for the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:01.58 where he finished in 11th at the meet.
Peter Kotlin (Lowell, Ind., Lowell Senior ) broke the Manchester record in the 50 yard freestyle race with a time of 21.38 which earned him 4th place in the event.
The Men's 200 Yard medley relay broke the Manchester record with a time of 1:36.74 and finished 4th in the event.
Eamin Lynch (South Bend, Ind., John Adams) broke the record for the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:15.69 which had her finish 6th in the event overall.
And
Alix Oden (Markle, Ind., Norwell) broke two records over the weekend, first being the 1650 yard freestyle with a time of 19:57.79 earning 5th place in the event as well as the 1,000 yard record where she got a time of 12:01.59.
The Spartans season comes to an end with the Men's team finishing in fourth and the Women's team finishing in fifth.
