Terre Haute, Ind. - Manchester's Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams wrapped up strong showings at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament, held February 11–14, with the men finishing fourth overall and the women placing seventh.
The men delivered one of the most impressive performances in program history, breaking nine school records over the four-day meet. Cyler Nelis led the way with two third-place finishes, while Peter Kotlin added another third-place result to the Spartans' medal count. Manchester also found the podium in relay action, as the men's 200 freestyle relay team secured a third-place finish to cap off a standout meet.
On the women's side, Rachel Garcia highlighted the Spartans' efforts with a runner-up finish in the 100 freestyle. Garcia also made a lasting impact on the record books, breaking three school records during the championship meet. Her performances helped anchor a competitive showing for Manchester as the team battled through a deep and talented conference field.
