  • In Innings 3 and 4 the Lions were able to tie the game up with a couple of RBI Singles.
  • In the 7th inning the offense for both teams started to heat up, Manchester was able to put another run on the board with a RBI Single from Joel Kennedy (Mooreland, Ind., Monroe Central), however MSJ put up three runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning make the score 3-5 Lions.

To make Knowles inning better, the Spartan stole third and with a throwing error involved he was able to score to make the game 7-5 Spartans.

  • The Spartans rolled their offensive success from day 1 into day 2  with Game two starting off with a Gavin Gleason (Brookston, Ind., Delphi Community) RBI single in the first.
