North Manchester, Ind. - The Manchester Spartan Volleyball team competed on Monday night against a familiar foe from down the road, Huntington University.
The Foresters would go on to take the match in three sets, dropping Manchester's record to an even 4-4.

Avery Ball (Decatur, Ind., Belmont) and
Joy Maze (Greenwood, Ind., Greenwood Community) led the attack on the offensive end, combining for 19 kills in three sets, with help from
Morgan Howard (South Whitley, Ind., Whitko) and
Emma Tone (Fort Wayne, Ind., Bishop Dwenger) who combined for 27 of the Spartans 32 set assists. On defense, First Years
Petra Schwartz (Goshen, Ind. , Goshen) and
Alena Naddaf (New Carlisle, Ind., New Prairie) were in the action,
Petra recording two total blocks and
Naddaf with 12 digs.Â
The Spartans (4-4) will now host the Manchester Tournament starting Friday, Sep.13.Â
