North Manchester, Ind. - The Manchester Women's Soccer team hosted The University of Olivet on Tuesday in a non-conference match up.

The Spartans defense stayed solid as they tied 0-0.

The Spartans and Comets held a tough battle throughout the 90 minutes, the Comets finished the game with 17 shots and 10 being on goal. This proved to be a busy day for the First Years in the back, Rayne Bell (Fort Wayne, Ind., Leo) and Sian Rogers (Jeffersonville, Ind., Jeffersonville), who were dominant in getting the ball away and protecting their net. First Year Goalkeeper, Claire German (Warsaw, Ind., Warsaw), recorded her first career clean sheet while also saving 9 shots on target. 

The Spartans look to keep the momentum as they travel to Notre Dame, Ind. to take on Saint Mary's College Saturday, Sept. 21.
