Elmhurst, IL. - The Mancheter University Women's Wrestling team traveled to Elmhurst, IL to take on the elmhurst University Blue jays in a Thursday night dual.

Manchester dominated from start to finish only dropping one match on the night and securing their second dual victory of the season.

Manchester 45, Elmhurst 4

Kyleigh Honaker (Avilla, Ind., East Noble) continues to go after the 103 lb division where she would win by tech fall to get the Spartans started. Three Spartans would go onto to win their matches by pin-fall; Jackeline Shackleford (Fort Wayne, Ind,, North Side) at 110, Reilynn Swift (Swansboro, NC, Swansboro) aat 160, and Claire Bennett (Indianapolis, Ind., Franklin Central) at 180. Five Spartans picked up forfeit victories on the night that led to the Manchester victory.

The Spartans will travel to West Liberty, WV on January 12 to compete in the Coach Monseau Open.
