Franklin, Ind. - Manchester capped its regular season road campaign with a strong 3–1 victory over Franklin on Wednesday night inside the Spurlock Center, improving to 13–13 overall and 4–4 in HCAC play.

The Spartans came out sharp, winning the opening set 25–22 behind an early 7–3 run and key kills from Avery Ball and Maddi Smith. Franklin responded with a narrow 25–22 win in the second, but Manchester regained control, dominating the third set 25–13 before closing the match with a 25–16 win in the fourth.

Offensively, Manchester was highly efficient, hitting .264 as a team with 51 kills on 125 attempts. Ball led the attack with 14 kills and 14 digs for a double-double, while Smith followed with nine kills and a .333 hitting percentage. Lily Lichtenbarger added seven kills and five total blocks, and setter Morgan Howard ran the offense smoothly with 38 assists, four aces, and eight points overall. Adelyn Figley provided 12 kills and six digs, while libero Tiffany Watterson anchored the back row with 19 digs.

The Spartans' front line also controlled the net, recording eight total blocks, while their serve game chipped in nine aces. After a brief stumble in the second set, Manchester's balanced offense and defensive consistency carried them to the four-set win and an even conference record heading into postseason play.
