North Manchester, Ind. - The Manchester University Men's Basketball team had their Senior Day this past Saturday, playing host to the Hanover College Panthers.
The Spartans fell just short 70-71.

The Panthers looked to be running away with the game in the 2nd half until the Spartans went on a 11-0 run with five minutes to go. The Spartans took their 3rd lead change of the day but Hanover would rally with nine seconds remaining to make the soon to be game winning bucket.
Bryant Smith (West Lafayette, Ind., Harrison) led the game in scoring with 23, he also had five rebounds and six assists.
Clay McCorkle (Converse, Ind, Oak Hill) shot 9-17 from the field while putting up 19 points as well as two blocks. First Year
Max Robertson (Pittsboro, Ind., Tri-West) had a lot of minutes where he finished with 8 points, 8 rebounds, 1 block, and 1 steal.
The Spartans look to keep their Tournament hopes alive as they prepare for an away game at Bluffton on February 12.
