Franklin, Ind. - The Manchester University Women's Basketball team traveled to Franklin, Ind. to take on the Grizzlies in their final regular season match up.

The Spartans needed a few things to happen in order to make the HCAC tournament however would come up just short, falling to Franklin 56-62.

The Grizzlies got things started early and fast, going up 16 points in the first quarter. The Spartans would have a strong second quarter and cut the deficit down to just two going into the half. The Grizz kept their lead going into the fourth but the Spartans fought to bring it close, Manchester would trail by two with 22 seconds remaining on the clock however it was too late in the game, Manchester would foul to preserve the clock and would then turn the ball over down four for Franklin to seal the victory.

Four Spartans finished in double figures, while the team combined for 45 rebounds and nine steals. 

The Spartans conclude the 2024-25 season with an overall record of 8-16 and HCAC record of 5-12.
