Huntington, Ind. - The Manchester University Baseball team traveled down the road to NAIA opponent, Huntington, for a non-conference match up on Tuesday.
The Spartans dominated the Foresters on offense, putting up 13 runs in just seven innings of play.

Manchester combined for 14 hits while knocking three out of the park. The Spartans went up early in the first after
Joel Kennedy (Mooreland, Ind., Monroe Central) drove in
Gavin Gleason (Brookston, Ind., Delphi Community) on a single to left. Later in the 3rd Kennedy was at it again this time bringing in
Mitchell Cobb (Pendleton, Ind., Pendleton Heights) and the getting driven in himself by Senior
Rocco Hanes (Ossian, Ind., Norwell).
The Spartans first homer of the day came from
Alex Westfield (Rockledge, FL, Viera) who went oppo and crushed a three run home run that game Manchester a now six run lead in the 5th. In the 6th inning,
Max Horner (Goshen, Ind., Northridge) and
Joel Kennedy go back to back in left field, and in the 7th
Gavin Gleason drove in the what would eventually be the game winning run as the Spartans would win by 10-run rule in the 7th.
Manchester's next match up will come this Saturday at Gratz Field as they host Mount St. Joseph in a double header..
