Adrian, MI - Manchester traveled to Adrian on Saturday and came away with a difficult 57–0 defeat.

The Spartans were unable to generate consistent offense, finishing with just 95 total yards on 46 plays. The running game never found rhythm, ending with only 2 net rushing yards, while the passing attack gained 93 yards but was slowed by two sacks and an interception. Quarterback Kaleb Hall went 14-for-21 through the air, connecting with several targets. Levarian Campbell led the receiving corps with 6 catches for 41 yards, while James Lewis added 4 receptions for 36 yards and chipped in 16 yards rushing. Freshman DJ Plattner also contributed, picking up 15 total yards between rushing and receiving. Despite reaching the red zone once, Manchester came up empty after a missed field goal attempt.

Special teams did provide sparks: Jaydon Berkley had a 51-yard kick return, finishing with 89 return yards, and Marquez Williams added a 14-yard return.

On defense, the Spartans worked hard against a high-powered Adrian offense that racked up over 600 yards. Freshman linebacker Ethan Witz paced the unit with 8 total tackles, while TJ Merritt Jr. and Cameron Puryear each added 6 stops. Blake Haiflich and Landon Hicks also chipped in with 4–6 tackles apiece. The defense forced a couple of quarterback hurries and broke up a pass, but Adrian's balance proved difficult to contain. 

With the loss, Manchester falls to 0–3 on the season. While the scoreboard was lopsided, the Spartans showed bright spots in special teams and receiving depth. The Spartans are off next week, but will return to the field October 4, as they travel to Bluffton for the conference opener.
