Carmel, Ind. - Manchester University's women's indoor track and field team earned strong recognition from the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) following impressive performances during week eight of the 2025–26 season.
Manchester claimed three HCAC Athlete of the Week honors. Junior thrower Katrina Sejour delivered a standout performance in the weight throw, recording a personal-best mark of 16.96 meters. The toss ranks third all-time in Manchester program history and fourth in HCAC history, while also placing 26th nationally this season.
Freshman Samantha Stetzel was named the HCAC Women's Jumps Athlete of the Week after clearing 1.49 meters in the high jump at the Ohio Northern Polar Bear Meet.
Sophomore Chesnee Miller earned the conference's Distance Athlete of the Week award after running a personal-best time of 5:00.46 in the mile at the Wartburg meet. Her mark ranks second in Manchester history and sixth all-time in the HCAC.
Also turning in a notable performance for the Spartans was senior sprinter Jay'Ana Blakley, who posted a time of 8.22 seconds in the 60-meter dash at the Polar Bear Meet.
