North Manchester Ind. – Manchester University women's outdoor track & field standouts Katrina Sejour and Ava Egolf have been recognized by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) as Athletes of the Week for their performances at the Pioneer Invite on Saturday.

Sejour was named the HCAC Women's Throws Athlete of the Week following a record-setting performance in the hammer throw. She posted a personal-best mark of 49.89 meters, a throw that currently ranks ninth in the nation. Sejour's mark also leads the Great Lakes Region and the HCAC, while placing fourth on the HCAC all-time list and third in Manchester program history.

Egolf earned HCAC Women's Distance Athlete of the Week honors after capturing the 1500-meter title at the Pioneer Invitational. Her winning time stands as a lifetime best and currently ranks first in the HCAC and second in the Great Lakes Region. Egolf's performance also moves her into ninth place on Manchester's all-time top-10 list.
