North Manchester, Ind. - Manchester University Men's Basketball is excited to announce its Fundamental Skills Day Camp, scheduled for Tuesday, July 7 through Thursday, July 9, 2026, on the Manchester University campus.
Designed for boys entering grades 3-8 in Fall 2026, the three-day camp will focus on teaching and reinforcing the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, energetic and encouraging environment. Campers will receive instruction from Manchester University coaches and student-athletes while developing skills that can help them succeed at any level of the game.
The camp will run daily from 9:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at Manchester University, located at 604 E. College Ave., North Manchester, Indiana 46962. The registration fee is $150, providing more than 15 hours of basketball instruction and competition—less than $10 per hour of camp activities.
Throughout the week, participants will work on essential basketball skills including footwork, offensive and defensive fundamentals, shooting, teamwork and game play. Campers will rotate through skill-development stations, participate in team practices, compete in shooting and free-throw contests, and put their skills into action during daily 5-on-5 games.
"Our goal is to create a positive learning environment where young players can improve their fundamentals, gain confidence and develop a deeper love for the game," said the Manchester University coaching staff. "Whether a camper is new to basketball or looking to sharpen existing skills, this camp provides quality instruction and plenty of opportunities to learn and compete."
