Bryce Worrell completed his fifth season as assistant baseball coach at Manchester’s Manchester University in 2020.
During his tenure at MU, Worrell has helped the Spartans earn three Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament berths. Worrell has coached 27 Spartans that have earned All-HCAC recognition in his five seasons with the program. In 2017, Manchester finished second in the HCAC during the regular season with a league record of 18-9.
Prior to arriving on staff in North Manchester, Worrell spent one season as the assistant baseball coach at Concordia University in Michigan. During his lone season with the Cardinals in 2015, Concordia had a pair of honorable mention all-conference honorees, including Gold Glove infielder Micah Oettig, and three NAIA scholar-athletes. Worrell also served as the graduate assistant baseball coach at Siena Heights for two seasons. During his time with the Saints, Worrell coached a pair of Gold Glove outfielders, five all-conference players, and 14 NAIA scholar-athletes.
Worrell played baseball at Anderson University (Ind.). He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from AU in 2011. He earned a master’s degree from Siena Heights University in 2014. Worrell and his wife, Alyson, have one daughter Lilly (5).
