Alan Bowen joined the Manchester football coaching staff in Spring of 2024.
Bowen comes to Manchester from Guilford College where he was there from 2021-2023. During his time there he held titles of Interim Defensive Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinator, Defensive Line Coach, Linebackers Coach, and Strength & Conditioning Coordinator. Bowen also coached four All-Conference honorees including a first team punter, as well as 13 Academic All-Conference honorees.
Bowen graduated from Bluefield University in 2019 with a BS degree in Exercise and Sports Science, he then completed his M.B.A at Bluefield with a concentration in Leadership.
Bowen currently resides in North Manchester with his wife Marisabel and his son Ashton
